Abstract

The hospitality culture nothing more is of that different forms of shelter, influenced for cultural, educational, partner-economic and religious questions, gifts in the communities, and special in community Monte Verde – MG. The Monte Verde choice as "case study" was given for personal envolvement with the place, the character of especificidade and identity of the researcher with the region, and also for the innovative character that is the study of the hospitality in communities. For this, it was used qualitative research, as sustentation for the comments of the different boardings of the hospitality gifts in Monte Verde, since its formation. Monte Verde was born from the idea Verner Grinberg, an immigrant leto, a proper visionary of beliefs and values, that the hospitality had in its founding character, on the basis of the rules of the religion baptist. Soon after its foundation, arrives in the region the tourism, motivated for the interest of the people in knowing Monte Verde, for the wealth of scene, beautiful landscapes and for the local gastronomia. The tourism continues until the current days, and became it more important local partner-economic activity. Together with the tourism, other forms of hospitality, the example of the commercial and urban hospitality, this last one with intentions to know the interest of the public administration in promoting the true functions social of the city had appeared.
